Kyle in Eldon, Mo.: Do we know for sure that Daenerys’ storyline is why Game of Thrones is filming in Morocco? I have other theories.
That was what we speculated at first but not anymore, since Emilia Clarke herself confirms to us that she is indeed headed to Morocco! As for your other theories, please put them in a 50-slide power point presentation and send them our way. Thanks. “I have to pack my sunscreen for Morocco,” Clarke tells us with a wink. “There will be a fair amount of skin [this season].” Oh, how unfortunate for you fan boys (and fan girls). And what does season three hold for the lovely dragon lady? “So basically when we left off season two, Daenery got her mojo back, so that is just continuing through season three,” Clarke says. When we asked her if she’ll be getting more powerful, she only smiled and coyly answered: “It’s all good.” March 31, 2013

‘Spike Island’, the film about the Stone Roses Spike Island gig is nearing completion as LTW spoke to writer Chris Coghill.

The film doesnt feature the band and it doesnt need to feature the band as it’s about a gang of mates who go to the legendary gig back in 1990. This is a more interesting angle as part of the Roses thing, was like punk, that it was about the people as much as the bands.

Waiting fans expressed definite opinions about who should play lead characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Many came with prints outs of their choice or with photos on their phone, ready to lobby James.

A majority favored Matt Bomer (White Collar) or Ian Somerholder (Vampire Diairies) for Grey. Choices for Anastasia were all over the map. The single most popular choice was probably Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), with a few others mentioning former GIlmore Girls star Alexis Bledel.

Emilia Clarke is the nice English girl who plays Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s hugely successful pork-sword-and-sorcery drama series, “Game of Thrones.” In the show, which is adapted from George R. R. Martin’s equally huge series of cod-medieval fantasy books, “A Song of Ice and Fire,” Daenerys is one of the two remaining children of the ousted Targaryen dynasty, forcibly married, aged 15, to Khal Drogo, another huge thing (played by the 6-foot-4 Hawaiian-born actor Jason Momoa), a warlord of the horse-mad Dothraki people who live beyond the Narrow Sea.

All hail Emilia Clarke as, Game of Thrones‘ pint-size warrior queen comes into her own
By Irene Lacher

Emilia Clarke has a certain kind of nubile beauty that’s irresistible to casting directors. She’s one of those child-women who’s all bee-stung lips, broad brow and soft, round visage, a facade of über-innocence that’s always hiding anything but. On an actress like Mila Kunis, a baby face is the alluring mask of a bad girl. But in the case of Game of Thrones star Clarke, it’s the portal to a type of young female character you’ve rarely seen, one whose womanly side isn’t largely expressed by her sexuality but by a solid core of inner strength and authority.

Heat Vision has the scoop on Urban and Barnes joining Overdrive, which also looks to include Game of Thrones starlet Emilia Clarke – assuming her negotiations for the female lead do not collapse. Urban will presumably set to work reprising his role as a younger Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy in Star Trek 2 after completing his acting duties for Overdrive. Barnes will likewise be moving onto another high-profile studio project after he stars in Negret’s thriller – namely, Legendary Pictures’ The Seventh Son.
