Sweet, beautiful and incredibly sympathetic, Emilia talks about how significant Game of Thrones is for her. She plays one of the most popular characters, Danaerys, the heir of an ancient line, Mother of Dragons, who wants to occupy the throne of Westeros.

What did you think when you read the script for the first time? Did the sex scenes scare you?
Yes, totally. I was on vacation with my family when I started to read the script and I told myself: Oh my God!, but I had read the books, I know what I had to do and it was a collaborative process, Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) and I discussed what we were going to do and what we thought was good. And nine out of ten times the integrity of the character wines because I was a bit scared, but the group at HBO behaved well, they helped things.
